The idea for this image came when I was working on a tv commercial involving a lot of little CG Geishas <img src="http://forums.cgsociety.org/images/smilies/wink.gif" border="0" alt="" title="" class="inlineimg" />. It took quite a while to finish this off. I used walking Geisha pretty much as an excuse to paint another forest <img src="http://forums.cgsociety.org/images/smilies/wink.gif" border="0" alt="" title="" class="inlineimg" />. I find the atmosphere of Chernobyl Exclusion Zone very close to it, it's my constant inspiration. This picture was created using acrylic paints and ink on paper first. Then, I took it to Photoshop and Painter to add some details and fine tune whole image.]]>

This one is pretty much just Lightwave Hypervoxels. I remember it had to be rendered over 4 days in pieces (in print resolution) and then stitched together in Photoshop <img src="http://forums.cgsociety.org/images/smilies/wink.gif" border="0" alt="" title="" class="inlineimg" />.]]>

It was really enjoable project. This painting was used in a shot with a panning camera so you never see the whole thing. That is why all the left bottom area is just a few brush strokes. You never see this section but I didn't want to leave a black whole in there <img src="http://forums.cgsociety.org/images/smilies/wink.gif" border="0" alt="" title="" class="inlineimg" /><br />

	<title>Harmonix Rockband styleframe</title>

It's a styleframe that was meant to help with visual project development. I received a black and white still from openGL animatic and painted on top of that. Some props were already there some had to be added. I spent only 1 day on it but I thought it looked promising so I spent a few more hours after the project was finished to smooth the picture out and make it look more &quot;finished&quot;.<br />
