Another matte painting I did for BBC "Journey to the East" spot. You can watch a 2-minutes long animation there:
It was really enjoable project. This painting was used in a shot with a panning camera so you never see the whole thing. That is why all the left bottom area is just a few brush strokes. You never see this section but I didn't want to leave a black whole in there
Animation was created for BBC Sports by agency RKCR/Y&R, Red Bee Media, Zombie Flesh Eaters and Passion Pictures. I was working on Passion Pictures end.
